When the Delta Dental Foundation began in 1980, one of its first activities was to sponsor continuing education seminars for dentists. These seminars, co-sponsored with The University of Michigan School of Dentistryâs Office of Continuing Education, have evolved into annual continuing educational programs designed specifically for dentists, some of which are also open to dental office staff.
A variety of topics are presented by dentists from around the country. These educational programs help dentists earn six continuing dental education (CDE) credits that are required for re-licensing.
Today, our annual continuing education programs have become so popular that we now co-sponsor two regional seminars in out-state locations and a major seminar every January in Ann Arbor.
