As part of Delta Dental’s Value Added program for participating providers, dentists can receive up to $13.00 off the Sonicare Direct price for select Philips Sonicare toothbrushes and accessories. Products eligible for special pricing include the Sonicare FlexCare+ or FlexCare+ with UV Sanitizer, Sonicare for Kids, Healthy White and replacement brush heads. Delta Dental commissions research review on oral and general health connections
As part of an ongoing objective to stay on the leading edge of emerging dental science and the role it plays in dental plan designs, Delta Dental has commissioned the University of Michigan School of Dentistry to conduct reviews of existing scientific research. The first of these studies examined the emerging science showing associations between periodontal disease and diabetes. Click here to read more.

Delta Dental Patient Direct increases access to dental care
Members of this non-insurance discount program pay treatment fees based on the Delta Dental PPO schedule to participating dentists—dental offices do not file claims for Delta Dental Patient Direct members. Enrollment begins July 1, 2009; an introductory letter was sent to Michigan, Ohio, and Indiana Delta Dental PPO participating dentists in June.
