Jacobson Selected to Serve on Prestigious Industry Advisory Board

May 8, 2008 (Okemos, Mich.) — Jed J. Jacobson, D.D.S., M.S., M.P.H., senior vice president and chief science officer at Delta Dental of Michigan, Ohio, Tennessee, and Indiana, was recently selected to serve as a member of The Journal of the American Dental Association’s (JADA) Industry Advisory Board.

The Industry Advisory Board supports the mission and activities of the American Dental Association’s premier publication – The Journal of the American Dental Association. Established in 1913, JADA’s overall mission is to promote the art and science of dentistry by providing the profession with information dentists can use to improve the delivery of oral health care. The Board consists of eight to nine dental industry professionals that serve two year terms.

Before coming to Delta Dental in 2001, Jacobson was an associate professor, assistant dean for community and outreach programs and interim chair of oral medicine, oral pathology and oral oncology at The University of Michigan School of Dentistry.
