Delta Dental Employees Take Part in Gleaners Food Bank Drive

Delta Dental of Indiana recently assisted the Gleaners Food Bank of Indiana after the food bank had fallen victim to a senseless act of vandalism. Vandals in search of copper had damaged the food bank’s refrigeration system, which resulted in the loss of approximately $500,000 of perishable items. The concerned staff at Delta Dental’s Greenwood, Indiana office decided to give back to the community and help the food bank recover from its devastating loss. Delta Dental staff collected canned, jarred and boxed foods that they personally delivered to Gleaners. The goods filled two sport utility vehicles. Delta Dental’s Community Relations Program also donated $2,500 to help in the recovery.
