ISO 9001 certification
ISO 9001 certification means that Delta Dental has built quality into its business processes to meet and exceed customer expectations. The rigorous ISO 9001 requirements are designed to help organizations create and maintain processes necessary to produce quality products and services. We undergo external audits twice a year and a full recertification audit every three years to ensure ISO compliance. We first earned ISO 9001 certification in 2002 and have maintained it every year since.
Our financial strength rating of A (Excellent) and the issuer credit ratings of “A” were reaffirmed by A.M. Best.
Print Center of the Year
We were named Print Center of the Year by the In-Plant Printing and Mailing Association in 2016. The award recognizes a corporate publishing operation that excels in efficient management practices in furthering the objectives of the company, and it recognizes corporate services for the increased product offerings in graphics printing, as well as other management and staff-led improvements.
Benchmark Portal certification
Awarded in conjunction with the Center for Customer-Driven Quality located at Purdue University, our call center was recognized as a Benchmark Portal Certified Center of Excellence and was recertified in 2014. This certification is awarded to call centers whose metrics are compared against the best practices of peer groups. Centers that attain certification do so on the basis of objective, quantitative data, which is audited and validated by researchers from BenchmarkPortal and the Center for Customer-Driven Quality.
